Women empowerment

Prabha Bharti is working for women and children since last 21 years. Where there is work experience of doing awareness and advocacy on all these subjects like health, education, rights of women and children. Along with this, in the past, the children's palna home has been operated in 6 districts of Jharkhand. Where there was a provision for regular check-up, education and keeping the children safe.

Swadhar Greh (Women and Child Development)

Swadhar Greh is a vital initiative under the Ministry of Women and Child Development, designed to provide shelter, support, and rehabilitation to women in distressing situations. It offers a safe and empowering environment for women and their dependent children, ensuring their overall well-being and personal growth. The program focuses on recreational activities to enhance mental well-being, rehabilitation through vocational training and employment opportunities for economic independence, and counseling services for emotional, psychological, and legal support. Swadhar Greh plays a crucial role in helping women regain confidence, dignity, and self-reliance, enabling them to lead empowered and independent lives.

Jharkhand Aids Control Society

The Targeted Intervention (TI) program by the Jharkhand AIDS Control Society focuses on preventing and controlling HIV/AIDS among high-risk populations through comprehensive outreach and support services.

Kishori Meeting

Prabha Bharti, in collaboration with Quest Alliance, organized a Teenage Awareness Meeting in Kushmaha village on July 8, 2024. The session was led by Shitanshu Sharma, a representative from Quest Alliance, who engaged teenage girls through interactive games to help them understand their personal goals and objectives.
Prabha Bharti Secretary, Pranu Singh, addressed critical topics such as child marriage prevention, the importance of education, and skill development for adolescent girls, encouraging them to pursue brighter futures.
Additionally, Sneham Kaushik, Madhu Singh, and Mohit Kumar shared valuable insights, further enriching the discussion and motivating the participants.
This meeting aimed to empower young girls with knowledge and confidence to make informed life choices and contribute positively to their communities.

Media consultation workshop under 16 day campaign

On 28/11/2024, a media consultation workshop was organized by Chetna Vikas under Child Marriage Free India at the District Public Information Office. In which Child Welfare Committee, District Legal Services Authority, members of various institutions and media personnel were present. All the people present in this workshop gave their advice and opinion to stop child marriage. In this workshop, Prabha Bharti Secretary Pranu Singh suggested to all the media personnel that all of you should give space to the topic of child marriage in your news channel and raise this issue prominently.

Nukkad Natak

On November 28th 2024, Prabha Bharti (TI) Koderma, in collaboration with the Lok Prabhatam, organized a street play in Domchanch Block of Koderma district to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS.

National Campaign against Gender Based Violence

On 27th November 2024, An awareness campaign on the topic of child marriage was conducted at the D C office Deoghar as part of a 16-day campaign.The program began with the lighting of a lamp,and was attended by officials,representatives from various organizations, and people from other related departments.

दिनांक 1 दिसंबर 2024 को विश्व एड्स दिवस सदर अस्पताल एवं टी आईं ऑफिस कोडरमा में मनाया गया जिसका थीम सही रास्ता अपनाए, मेरा स्वास्थ्य मेरा अधिकार है। जिसमें सदर अस्पताल के सिविल सर्जन, डीपीएम, टीबी डिपार्टमेंट से डॉ रमन कुमार, Art, ICTC एवं टी आईं स्टाफ उपस्थित रहे।

World Aids Day 2024 (Dumka TI)

HIV/AIDS Awareness Campaign on World AIDS Day Theme: "Take the Rights Path" Prabha Bharti TI Dumka organized an impactful HIV/AIDS awareness campaign on December 1st, World AIDS Day. The event included an awareness speech and a community meeting at the Bediya hotspot, focusing on engaging and empowering Female Sex Workers (FSWs). As part of the campaign, FSWs actively participated in creating vibrant rangoli designs to symbolize hope and unity in the fight against HIV/AIDS. The activities aimed to promote awareness, advocate for rights, and emphasize the importance of taking preventive measures. Below are some memorable moments from the event:

दिनांक 07/12/2024 दिन शनिवार को सारवां प्रखंड के अंतर्गत आने वाले कस्तूरबा गांधी बालिका विद्यालय सारवां में उपस्थित कक्षा 9 से 12th की विद्यार्थियों के साथ 16 दिवसीय अभियान के तहत से safe & unsafe touch के बारे में बताया गया एवं गतिविधि के रूप में नुक्कड़ नाटक करवाई गई । ‌ इस कार्यक्रम में विद्यालय के प्रधान अध्यापिका , शिक्षिका एवं विद्यार्थी‌ उपस्थित रही।

Health Camp- 2024-25

On December 9, 2024, a health camp was organized by Prabha Bharti TI Koderma at Kattadih village in the Jaynagar hotspot under the chairmanship of the Program Manager. A total of 76 beneficiaries underwent RMC and HIV tests, and medicines were distributed to them. The event was attended by Lab Technician Ayaz Ahmed from Sadar Hospital, Dr. Mohd. Nizamuddin from TI Koderma, Panchayat Secretary Faisal Khan, Mukhiya Waseem Ahmed Khan, Sahiyas, and other team members from Prabha Bharti.

Community Event 2024-24

On December 10, 2024, under the Community Program initiative by Prabha Bharti TI, Koderma, Human Rights Day was celebrated in Pandeydih and Domchanch of Koderma. Also, a program was organized to raise awareness about human rights among the people.

दिनांक 06-08-25 को प्रभा भारती द्वारा सारवा प्रखंड के अंतर्गत आने वाले सिंहरायडीह क्षेत्र में, ग्रामीन जमीनी स्तर पर दिया यूथ क्लब की कुल 15 किशोरियों के साथ एक दिवसीय कौशल एवं क्षमता वर्धन विकास कार्यशाला का सफलतापूर्वक आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यशाला का मुख्य उद्देश्य प्रतिभागी किशोरियों को मौलिक अधिकारों एवं शिक्षा से संबंधित आवश्यक ज्ञान प्रदान करना, उनकी सोच एवं दृष्टिकोण में सकारात्मक बदलाव लाना, तथा भविष्य के लिए उन्हें आत्मनिर्भर और सशक्त बनाने हेतु आवश्यक कौशल विकसित करना था। कार्यशाला के दौरान विभिन्न सत्रों में चर्चा, समूह गतिविधियों, और सहभागितापूर्ण अभ्यासों के माध्यम से किशोरियों को अपने अधिकारों की पहचान, शिक्षा का महत्व, तथा जीवन कौशल के प्रयोग के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी दी गई। स्थानीय स्तर पर इस पहल को ग्रामीण समुदाय के सहयोग और सहभागिता से और अधिक प्रभावी बनाने पर भी जोर दिया गया।

दिनांक 08/08/2025 को प्रभा भारती के द्वारा ग्रामीण स्तर पर बैजनाथपुर यूथ क्लब की किशोरी प्रतिभागियों के लिए एक विशेष खेलकूद कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया। इस कार्यशाला का मुख्य उद्देश्य प्रतिभागी किशोरियों को मानसिक एवं शारीरिक रूप से सक्रिय, स्वस्थ और आत्मविश्वासी बनाना था। इस अवसर पर विभिन्न प्रकार की खेल प्रतियोगिताएं एवं गतिविधियां आयोजित की गईं, जिनमें प्रमुख रूप से कबड्डी, फुटबॉल, दौड़, वॉलीबॉल आदि शामिल थीं। इन खेलों में प्रतिभागियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया और अपनी टीम भावना, अनुशासन, सहयोग, नेतृत्व क्षमता एवं खेल भावना का प्रदर्शन किया।

Health Camp

दिनांक 06/02/2026 को गोलपुर पंचायत में नि:शुल्क स्वास्थ्य शिविर का सफल आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें कुल 74 ग्रामीणों ने अपनी स्वास्थ्य जांच करवाई और आवश्यक चिकित्सीय परामर्श प्राप्त किया। इस अवसर पर स्थानीय जनप्रतिनिधियों एवं स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारियों की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति रही। कार्यक्रम में गोलपुर पंचायत के मुखिया, ग्राम प्रधान, वार्ड सदस्या, सदर हॉस्पिटल से आए CHO एवं 2 ANM, PE गीता मुर्मू, तथा प्रभा भारती,टी. आई दुमका की स्टाफ सक्रिय रूप से उपस्थित रहे और शिविर के सफल संचालन में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। शिविर के माध्यम से ग्रामीणों को स्वास्थ्य जांच, आवश्यक दवा परामर्श एवं स्वास्थ्य संबंधी जागरूकता प्रदान की गई। इस पहल का मुख्य उद्देश्य समुदाय को बेहतर स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं से जोड़ना और समय पर उपचार सुनिश्चित करना है।

International Women's Day

दिनांक 08 मार्च 2026 को प्रभा भारती, देवघर के द्वारा अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के अवसर पर कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में ग्रामीण एवं शहरी क्षेत्र की लगभग 50 बुद्धिजीवी महिलाएँ शामिल हुईं। कार्यक्रम के दौरान महिला हाट शुरू करवाने के विषय में उपायुक्त (DC) से बातचीत करने पर भी चर्चा की गई। इस अवसर पर महिलाओं के लिए म्यूजिकल चेयर, गुब्बारा प्रतियोगिता तथा अंगूर रेस का आयोजन किया गया। प्रतियोगिताओं में प्रथम एवं द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त करने वाली प्रतिभागियों को पुरस्कार देकर सम्मानित किया गया।

Community Event

11 मार्च 2026 को Prabha Bharti TI, कोडरमा द्वारा अंतरराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के अवसर पर बर्नवाल सेवा सदन, कोडरमा में महिलाओं की शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य एवं अधिकारों पर एक जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में पूर्व जिला परिषद अध्यक्ष शालिनी गुप्ता उपस्थित रहीं। साथ ही सदर अस्पताल कोडरमा के ICTC, ART एवं TB सेंटर के प्रतिनिधियों ने महिलाओं को HIV/AIDS, टीबी एवं अन्य स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं से जुड़ी महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी दी। कार्यक्रम में महिलाओं को अपने अधिकारों के प्रति जागरूक रहने, नियमित स्वास्थ्य जांच कराने तथा आत्मनिर्भर बनने के लिए प्रेरित किया गया। अंत में संस्था के सचिव प्रणु सिंह ने सभी अतिथियों, प्रतिभागियों एवं टीम के सदस्यों का धन्यवाद दिया।

दिनांक ‌- 12/12/2024 दिन गुरुवार को प्रभा भारती के द्वारा आदर्श उत्क्रमित मध्य विद्यालय घोरपरास सारवां में कक्षा छह से आठवी तक की विद्यार्थियों के साथ अलग -अलग विषय- जेंडर ,पितृसत्ता , यौन हिंसा ,मौलिक अधिकार, गुड टच और बैड टच के ऊपर विस्तृत पूर्वक जानकारी देते हुए गतिविधि के रूप में चित्र कार्ड का प्रयोग करते हुए समझाया गया एवं स्टापु गेम भी करवाया गया। साथ ही सभी विद्यार्थियों के द्वारा जमीनी स्तर पर देखे हुए विषय आधारित अनुभव को ‌साझा ‌किया गया ।

जमिनी स्तर पर किशोरीयो के स्वास्थ्य और महिला सुरक्षा पर जागरूकता कार्यशाला

प्रभा भारती के द्वारा 11 दिसंबर 2024 को गांव सिंहरायडीह में यूथ क्लब की किशोरी के साथ कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें 25 प्रतिभागी उपस्थित रही। इस कार्यशाला का शुभारंभ किशोरी के द्वारा स्वागत गीत गाकर किया गया । इस कार्यशाला के दौरान सभी को स्वास्थ्य और सुरक्षा संबंधित एवं कानून के बारे में विस्तृत पूर्वक जानकारी देने के अलावा अलग-अलग प्रकार कि गतिविधि करवाईं गई।

दिनांक 09 दिसंबर 2024 को सारवां प्रखंड के कुरेवा डगाल में 16 दिवसीय अभियान के तहत जमीनी स्तर पर महिला किसान के साथ महिला अधिकार कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया जिसमेंं महिला किसान एवंं गांव की महिलाएं उपस्थित रही । इस कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ उपस्थित सभी महिला किसान के द्वारा एक- दुसरे को पुष्प आदान - प्रदान कर किया गया । कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित महिला किसान के साथ महिला सशक्तिकरण ,महिला अधिकार एवं कानून जैसी मुख्य बिंदुओं पर विस्तृत पूर्वक बताया गया।

प्रभा भारती के द्वारा 2 दिसंबर 2024 दिन सोमवार को 16 दिवसीय अभियान के तहत देवघर जिले में स्थित वन स्टॉप सेंटर में आवासित महिलाओं और बच्चियों को बाल विवाह, यौन हिंसा एवं स्वास्थ्य विषय पर जागरूक किया गया । साथ ही उपस्थित सभी को जरूरत की सामग्री एवं खाद्य पदार्थ प्रदान ‌किए‌ गए ।

Prabha Bharti conducted an awareness campaign on the subject of child marriage and toll-free number with the adolescent group of Yuva Club in Siharaydih village under Sarawan block of Deoghar district on 27 November 2024. Also, various types of activities were organized like - making a circle on the numbers from 1 to 10 and standing inside it, holding the ball in hand and putting it in the box, hide and seek, Dalam-Dalla etc.

बाल विवाह के ऊपर क़ानूनी जागरूकता कार्यक्रम

प्रभा भारती के द्वारा दिनांक 12 नवंबर 2024 को सारवा प्रखंड के आदर्श उत्क्रमित मध्य विद्यालय घोरपारास में किशोरी समुह के साथ बैठक आयोजित की गई । जिसमें कुल प्रतिभागी - 40 ,एंव‌ अध्यापिका ‌- 4 ,‌ एंव‌ अध्यापक -1 उपस्थित रहे । इस बैठक में किशोरी समुह के साथ बाल विवाह , टोल‌ फ्री नंबर, बाल‌ विवाह‌ कानुन एवं शिक्षा का महत्व आदि इन मुख्य बिंदुओं पर चर्चा किया गया । एवं अलग‌ - अलग‌ प्रकार की गतिविधि जैसे - एक हथेली को दूसरे व्यक्ति के चेहरे पर आईने की तरह दिखाना , बकरी ढूंढना , सील‌ द डील , इसटिकी नोट का प्रयोग करते हुए अपने सपने को लिखना ,दिवाल लेखन इत्यादि करवाई गई l

किशोरी बैठक

दिनांक 23/10/24 को प्रभा भारती कि कार्यकार्ता मधु कुमारी के द्वारा देवघर जिले के सारवा प्रखंड के अंतर्गत कुशमाहा गाँव के आंगनबाड़ी केंद्र में किशोरियों के साथ बैठक की गयी, इस बैठक में मधु कुमारी के द्वारा समुह में उपस्थित सभी किशोरियों को बाल विवाह से संबंधित बाल विवाह कानुन, बाल विवाह से होने वाली हानियाँ ,और बाल विवाह के दुष्प्रभाव पर चर्चा कि साथ ही शिक्षा से संबंधित विषयों पर,शिक्षा के महत्व , शिक्षा का अर्थ शिक्षित व्यक्ति की पहचान,जीवन और समाज में शिक्षा से प्राप्त कौशल विकास आदि विषयों के बारे में जानकारी दि गयी |

Review Meeting

We have Organized Review Meeting in the TI office koderma. We have discussed on Work Target achievement and gaps likes ICTC, Syphilis, Condom, TB, STI and RMC testing and focused of TI Components and Revamping Strategies. We have discussed in the review meeting on report, ICTC, Planning and Office document. We have discussed on creative HRGs Group in own hot – spot area. Counseling is the main part of TI project. HRGs are opened discussion on this stage. She has faced any problems in their area then she has taken a chance in counseling stage. Many HRGs didn’t open with peer and ORW. Then after she came in the office then shared own matter with counselor. Then after referred for ICTC and RMC test. We have Organized DIC Meeting in the TI office koderma. We have discussed on ICTC, STI, Syphilis Screening, TB Dots, PT, ART Linkage, HIV/AIDS and RMC testing and focused of TI Components. We have discussed on Services for HRGs Condoms, CSM, Out-Let, Regular Contact, High Risk Group and Violence. We have discussed on type of sex as Unsafe and Oral and Physical sex. We discussed on HRGs counselling. Kriti Kumari said to Peer Please aware HRGs for Counselling. We have discussed on low participant HRGs in DIC meeting. Hot spot meeting

Hot-Spot meeting is important parts of TI projects. All HRGs are meet this meeting and discussed on demand and services. We have choose Six Hot- Spot and 32 sites in my areas. We makes 32 Out- Let in the Hot-Spot. 1. Chhotakibagi 2. Ghati 3. Telaiya 4. Jainagar 5. Koderma 6. Domchanch HRGs are takes Many services in this meeting. When started HIV screening on kit then she are relax fill. Because my area is the large and distance of ICTC center so they are faced difficult for ICTC and RMC.

Migrant Work

Migrant work is aware Outgoing and Incoming Passenger in the Railway Station and Bus Stand Koderma about AIDS /HIV. We are Organized Two meeting in a month in Railway Station and bus Stand Koderma and KNOP stall taked two days in a week. Migrant ORW explained about HIV/AIDS and How to increase HIV in India and they are distributed Free Condom with Migrant.The Migrants intervention Area we functional condoms depots ,sensitization meeting with stake holder and identification of high prevention for HIV/AIDS patient area in this program we reached the labor contractor and sex worker then we know the program explain in this site which are the major destinations which migrants travel through this transit and we know major source blocks from which migrants travel through this transit site then we plan next month KNOP stall area. Total Targeted- 10000 Achievement- 15184 Koderma station is a large station in this state. So there are reached many districts and states migrant for job.

Prabha Bharti organized 12 Stake Holder Meeting In Railway Station ,Bus Stand Koderma. We are aware Migrants for HIV and AIDS. The program will started with introduction session of the migrant participant. The program will commence with HIV/AIDS presentation will be done where the participants will be briefed on the work being carried out by Prbha Bharti and the region covered by the organization. To celebrate women's day

International Women's Day program was organized on 8/3/23 in Swadhar Grih. Women of Swadhar Grih and organizations from the world, Rani ji, Abha ji, Madhu Kumari, Suchitra jha were present in the campus of Swadhar Grih Celebrated International Women's Day with 60 other women. Sangeeta Mishra told all the women about the advantages and disadvantages of social media that in today's era, social media has become such a platform that helps different people in the world, from different countries and other places, to establish new identities with each other. To convey the message, get information about many technologies, along with this Rani ji told the women about being self-reliant and also the women were given competitions like musical chair, speech, singing, painting etc. in which the winning participants were given prizes. Counselling

Prabha Bharti settled/resolved a total of 25 cases in this year 2022-23 which included health, violence against women, love jihad, harm of girls due to social media, explained through counseling on all points, and this year husband-wife dispute, A total of 10 cases were counseled and sent home.

To child Marriage act legal training

On 12-01-2023, a one-day program on how to prevent child marriage and ill effects of social media was organized in collaboration with Prabha Bharti at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya. This program was inaugurated by organization representatives. The aim of this program was to save girls from the ill effects of child marriage and social media.

Health Camp

We organized Health Camp Check Up and HIV/AIDS Awareness Campion this year. The camp organized on 22/11/2022 Hot Spot Fulwariya, Domchanch is most venerable areas in our project. The objective of Camp our clients not reach on PPP. Many clients demanded Total checkup 65 ICTC 65 RMC 65 for treatment and motivate in benefit of DIC. There are conduct checkup of 90, Counseling and Condom distribution in this camp. The camp actually finding 3 patients suffering from STIs problem. TIs PPP Doctor treats the all patient on syndrome management. Prabha Bharti extended services to promote awareness programme, Awareness camp, and free medicines distribute for STIs, RTIs & general Medicine.

To agriculture & Livelihood program

A two-day agricultural program was organized in Mohanpur village from 28 to 29/07/2022. In which a total of 50 beneficiary women, men and farmers participated. The program was started by lighting the lamp by Parimal Singh. Parimal Singh explained about agriculture, how to maintain soil fertility and also every farmer should make efforts to improve the fields through Burmese compost/organic fertilizers instead of using chemical fertilizers. Also, all the farmers, women and men were given a test again for making vermin compost and along with this, everyone was asked to make vermin compost in their homes. The problem of water conservation is going to be serious for all the farmers, women and men in the present times, hence it is very important for everyone to be aware. After which all the farmers were sworn in to conserve water and by giving flowers in the hands of women, they were motivated to conserve water as well as do kitchen gardening, after which the program was concluded.

Swadhar Greh scheme for women in difficult circumstances was launched by the Department of Women and Child Development in 2001- 02. The scheme aims to rehabilitate such women in difficult circumstance by providing the shelter, food, clothing, counseling, training, clinical and legal aid. We created an awareness session about the same at FCI, Jasidih.

Advocacy Meeting

Observance of Events Special Events like, World AIDS day, Voluntary Blood Donation day, International Women’s Day &, World Health Day, International Youth Day, and National Youth Day etc. are being observed throughout the district in collaboration with line. On the occasion of World AIDS DAY on 1st of December, Targeted Intervention unit of Prabha Bharti organized an Advocacy Cum Awareness Programme for HIV/AIDS and Social responsibilities for PLHIV. The purpose of the Advocacy was to review the Target Intervention Project by Prabha Bharti members.

Co-ordination & Networking Activities

Prabha Bharti tried to establish a strong networking with DC, ICTC, Govt. health care facilities, TB-Dot and ART centre through conducting meetings. Network has been established with ICTC, STI Clinic and ART centre. 1664 individual tested ICTC in last one year. But in context of coordination with ICTC and STI clinic, there is some draw back and irregularity found.

For women empowerment and SHG

Capacity building test of 25 self-help women was started in Sarwan Panchayat on 25-11-2022. In which 25 women from all the places like Barakola, Sura, Kordiha, Pahridih, Danipur participated. Capacity building one day test was conducted by Madhu Kumari on all the subjects like maintenance of accounts, loan installment etc. Also, the women of the group were motivated to create awareness on various issues like child marriage, health, dowry system, domestic violence .

Swadhar Greh

There are many women in the society who neither have a place to hide their head nor two meals a day. Swadhar Greh is being run to provide shelter to such unsafe women and make them self-reliant. Purpose of Swadhar Grih 1. Providing shelter, food, clothing and medical assistance to destitute women. 2. To improve women emotionally 3. To connect women with skill scheme for self-employment. 4. To inspire and enable destitute women to live with self-respect and determination. Women suffering from domestic violence can stay in Swadhar Grih for one year, and women suffering from other reasons can stay for three years. Women above 55 years of age can live in Swadhar Greh for 60 years but after that they are sent to old age home A total of 89 beneficiaries were enrolled in Swadhar Grih in the year 2022-2023, and after better counselling, a total of 73 beneficiaries were sent safely to their residence or for self-employment. In Swadhar Grih, women are given training related to beauty skills, sewing, painting and decoration. Apart from this, tree plantation, women's day, and kitchen gardening etc are organized by the advocates. At present, even mentally ill people are coming to this ashram and living peacefully. The Ashram is decorated with full decoration through rangoli, flowers, balloons, colorful lights, lamps, candles on festivals like Independence Day, International Women's Day, Republic Day, Dussehra, Diwali, Chhath Puja and New Year as per the beneficiary. . By fulfilling the daily needs of the destitute and suffering women living in Swadhar Grih, they are made emotionally strong so that they can live their lives with self-respect and economic independence, so that they can be seen with respect in the society .

Advocacy meeting

According to the UN, “gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls is not just a goal in itself, but a key to sustainable development, economic growth, and peace and security”. To follow this the organisation had an advocacy meeting to create awareness about women having equal rights to men in all areas of private and public life, including education, employment, and political participation at Dargi Chak, Koderma.
